Something Blue

There’s something so easy about maxi skirts that would make me or anyone really wear them over and over again. Add a blue tinge to create an ombre effect and you’ve got a winner! I’ve always been drawn to outfits with an ombre effect and making one was so enjoyable! Although the blue on the pictures isn’t as apparent but seeing it person would remind you of the ocean or dolphins or something blue and equally calming!

On a different note, I feel like that year has flown by so fast. Just a few months ago I was writing up my resolutions and the year before that I was coming up with my 20 before 20 list! But I’ve always liked this time; after Christmas and before New Year. You get to review the year and set more goals against the previous year and the person you’ve become! I actually really love coming up with resolutions, can you tell? 😀 And having a point of reference has always been nice and it makes you realize how time has flown by! As a family, we already shared our plans for the year with each other so that we may be more accountable! I can’t wait to see what this new year will bring and the person I will become! And in as much as we set resolutions every year or every so often, remember everyday is a good old do over with your name on it!

I found your blog through your comment on Sharon’s blog and I am glad I came here. I have been noticing how african bloggers are really taking off now. Your blog is special and I will be following it closely. I have just started my own this december and would appreciate it if you can stop by and share your views. I have loved this look because it resonates so much with me.
