Nowadays I tend to plan my blog posts around outfits I make. When the weekend arrives I end up planning out each specific day so that I end up making about two outfits that I’ll be able to share on the blog. It hasn’t always been successful but I try. I tend to reserve my weekdays for school work only so that means I only get to sew on the weekends! And with that in mind, trust me when I say that my sewing speed is increasing at a fast rate.
I made this skirt two weekends ago but I didn’t get a chance to share it on the blog up until now. If you haven’t noticed, a crop top tends to be my go-to pairing when it comes to skirts and this time it was no different. I’m also always drawn to this particular white crop top that ended up making this a monochrome look. I really like the simple sophistication of the pairing. I would not shy away from wearing this over and over again. And let’s face it, white always makes you look good!
P.S. when in doubt, you should always go for a monochrome look because you not only have the novelty of wearing that colour once, but TWICE, in one day! And no one will judge for it!
