Lace Be Honest

August 3, 2016

Photography by Pixelinc

I’ve never really been a fan of fitting dresses, my first option would always be something flared and away from the body but lace be honest here, this ended up looking quite flattering.

This dress was initially my sister’s and she intended to wear it for my graduation but she’s much taller and a bit curvier so the fit was tighter and shorter and she decided she wasn’t really comfortable in it. So what do I do? I try it on, obviously. I honestly didn’t think it would look good on me but surprise surprise. But long story short, it’s now mine, hanging in the closet waiting for the next time it’ll get to come out to play. And I think the next time I’m out shopping for dresses, I won’t shy away from the body con type of dresses. For those who’ve never really explored outside what they normally wear, I dare you to try, you might just like it!

Happy Hump Day!

So beautiful! Have a quick question (or two): 1. Your hair is gorgeous! Do you mind sharing which hair it is + tips on how you’re maintaining it? 2. I’m having a really hard time with my hair stylist (who’s been doing my hair since I was 12) but she has ruined 2 of my human hair weaves in a matter of months :'( Do you have a good hairdresser you can recommend?

The hair is Style Icon “14 in Natural Yaki. To be honest I don’t do much. I just make sure the part of my hair that’s mine is moisturized…
I normally do my weaves at Amadiva on 1st floor Prestige Plaza, you can ask for a lady called Elizabeth. She always does my weaves. I hope that helps 🙂
