My Style

It’s Official

December 10, 2015

I sometimes like going through my old posts just to compare what I was writing about then versus what I write about now. In retrospect, I realized that I’ve never put up any posts showcasing official clothes which I find a bit ironic since I don official clothes on weekdays. So I decided to break the mold and put together a look that I find very stylish yet official at the same time. I like how simple items can go a long way in making an outfit look sophisticated. Take this top for example, it’s quite simple; the use of two colors is just what transforms it all really.

When I was making this top, I very much intended to add some sleeves to them to make it a ‘proper’ official top but I ran out of fabric and decided to work with what I had. This outfit definitely describes me and I would probably wear it everyday until I got tired, if I had a choice. So I think it’s official that this is my new favorite top probably until I make another one! For those who have never had an opportunity to dress in official, I hope this post inspires you in one way or another. Have a lovely day!
