Paris In Spring

April 28, 2016

I loved experiencing Paris in Spring! It was quite different from what I’m normally used to. Back here in Kenya, you could say there are only two seasons; the hot/sunny season and the cold/rainy season. When I first left the airport in Paris, I was rather perplexed. The sun was shining and there wasn’t a single cloud in the sky but it was freezing cold. I kinda liked it! I loved walking and experiencing the city of lights. The language, the art, the buildings……everything was so beautiful! From the Eiffel Tower to the Louvre to the scenic view from the Seine! It was a once in a lifetime experience and I hope I get the chance to travel so much more this year and¬†experience different cultures!

While in Paris, my outfits would generally constitute of warm jackets, chunky sweaters, boots, scarves and a pair of sunglasses. I would say I wore boots almost the whole time there, but this day was put aside for shopping and exploring so I opted for my snickers. This is a simple outfit that would definitely work in the fashion forward French crowd!

Sweater and Bag – New Yorker

Jeans and Sunglasses – Thrifed

Shoes – Bata
