White Elephant

November 18, 2015

While vacationing in Malindi, my family and I decided to explore other hotels and we ended up at The White Elephant Art Lodge for lunch. I have to say that it’s the most artistic place I have been to in a while. From the entrance where there were gigantic and beautiful statues to a whole art gallery within the hotel. A whole freaking gallery. Every corner of the place had some piece of art that I’m sure any artist would come to appreciate. I found it really beautiful. It’s any artist’s little piece of heaven!

Now to tackle the [white] elephant in the room, I’ve worn this dress only once before and that was when I was attending Kendra’s On The Runway fashion show last year. I’ve never really had another chance to wear it again until I decided to carry it with me on this trip. I paired this dress with a hand made head band made with real flowers that are all over Malindi!

On a similar note, Kendra Fashion House are hosting their annual On The Runway fashion show which will be at The Michael Joseph Center on 29th November! Tickets go for Ksh. 1000. I have attended their last two shows and they were amazing! I would highly recommend attending, go here for more details!
