The above picture was taken by a stranger/my dubbed stalker. I was listening to the music, you know, minding my own business (Insert whistling sound here) and then I looked down. I really dunno what made me look down, but I see this guy pointing his phone at me with the flash on. I was flabbergasted. I kinda just stood there in shock for a couple seconds. I think the guy saw the expression on my face and decided to come over to where I was. So he was like:
“Hi, I know you think like I’m some kind of stalker but I promise I wasn’t gonna keep the picture. [Riiggggght!] I was just trying out different angles. Just switch on your bluetooth so that I send it to you.”
I just complied and said okay. So once I received the photo, he turned his phone to me and deleted the photo as I watched. Finishing off with “See, I wasn’t going to keep the photo”.
But anyway that is why I like attending such events, you get to meet such random people, acquaintances and friends that you haven’t seen in a while.
This edition of Blankets and Wine was sooo AMAZEBALLS!! Sadly enough I wasn’t able to attend both days, I just attended the one on Saturday which was really fun. I have to admit that the DJ session by DJ Pierra (renown actor) was the ultimate. No. Really. I enjoyed it so much. I hadn’t danced that much in a while. I had read about her before and how apparently she was the best female DJ in Kenya and honestly I didn’t believe it until I saw/heard for myself. Hands-down.
I also got to see Just a Band and a bit of Mi Casa. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to see Sauti Sol perform. I know all their songs. I love them. You really can’t have a favorite cause all their songs are really good.
Anyway before I bore you with my craze about Sauti Sol, here are the photos I took on Saturday. They’re few cause I thought I’d be there on Sunday to take more.
